Dr. Trent Pierce Car Bomb

Dr. Trent Pierce from West Memphis, Arkansas is now critically injured due to his car exploding either while he was in it or near it. This took place this morning of February 4th, 2009. The bomb went off at his home at Avalon and Cooper.

In the beginning police said there wasn't any foul play. Obviously there was since it has been determined that a bomb caused the explosion. Dr. Trent Pierce has been a well respected doctor in the community and there were not any known threats on his life.

According to neighbors, the explosion was so large that it could be felt up to a mile away. Car pieces were found hundreds of feet away from the vehicle. Dr. Pierce is sufferi
ng from burns to his hands and feet along with extensive injuries. He was airlifted to MED in extremely critical condition.

At the moment the FBI and ATF are investigating the scene.
