Blink 182 Back Together

Blink 182 are now back together. Some sources are saying that it is because of Travis Barker's near death experience after a plane crash that took place in September. He survived the crash with second and third degree burns. Four people died in the crash.

Now, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge have joined back up with Travis Barker as friends again. Will they have a reunion tour? Things are looking pretty good on that horizon. So yes, most likely.

Nick Watney Girlfriend

A lot of girls are wondering if Nick Watney (Pro Golf Player) has a girlfriend. The answer is yes. According to various sources he has a girlfriend from Austin with a "true southern girl" vibe to her. She is very attractive according to people that have seen her on his golfing tours.

However! There is a possibility that he no longer has a girlfriend due to this information being several months old. 

However again! That doesn't mean they split up.

Sorry I couldn't be of further assistance, if I find out anything I will certainly post it. A picture would be great as well.

P90X Exercise Program Review

This is my own little makeshift review of the P90X exercise program. 

I'm just going to tell you the basics of what you need to know if you are considering buying this product.

For one, if you already know a significant amount about cutting down on fat through working out, you will probably not gain anything from this program. As you are already familiar with the fact that there are plenty of forums that are free with all of the information you need out there.

If you don't go to fitness forums and feel clueless when it comes to losing weight (don't feel bad, most people don't know how to go about it), this could be right for you. But keep in mind, this i

s an intense way to lose weight. This isn't some miracle drug or machine that claims it will basically do the work for you. You will be tired, and you will be sore if you aren't already in good shape.

In the end, you are going to lose the weight you wanted as long as you stay comitted and don't give up. Remember that diet is just as important if not more important than the workouts!

2009 Pro Bowl Halftime Show

I had no idea a halftime show existed for the Pro Bowl. So I did a search on youtube and found out that for 2009, it was Ciara and Enrique Iglesias. It was a fairly weak performance as far as they go. But I suppose if you are a fan of the music it may be alright. The two just don't really look like they are giving it their all on the stage. It may have to do with the fact that their voices are being electronically manipulated out the *$#. I imagine a lot less heart goes into it that way.

Milani Rose Tape

There is plenty of controversy surrounding Milani Rose, a model, at the moment. She claims that a girl that looks a lot like her is going around the country posing as her, and escorting herself to men. She is using names such as Milan Rose, Malani Rose, etc. To see the video of the real Milani Rose explaining what the imposter is doing, view below.

The imposter has also apparently released a tape that features adult actions taking place. She is probably making a lot of money off of the real Milani's name.

Is Al Green Blind?

I'm not sure why people are asking if Al Green is blind. Perhaps somebody can give me some input in a comment. I've just finished researching this and have found no reason to believe that this guy is blind. He has suffered injuries in the past, burns, as well as an injury while performing, but there is no indication that he is blind.

Chris Brown Beats Up Rihanna

Chris Brown turned himself into authorities to be questioned about beating up Rihanna. This is why they both did not show up to perform at the Grammy Awards tonight. They had pulled out of the awards show after a domestic assault took place on Saturday night. According to reports Chris Brown had beat Rihanna while driving in a car. The police showed up and saw that Rihanna had injuries that identified Brown as her attacker. Chris had fled the scene.

Tonight, Brown turned himself in. This is the type of thing that ruins careers. I seriously doubt he will be able to put this one in the dark for a long while.

Sun Drop Cake Recipe

Craving some Sun Drop cake? It is very easy to make if you already have experience with baking cakes. 

Here is a list of the ingredients you will need.

5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
3 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
6 oz. Sundrop

Then for the Icing you will need.

2 c. confectioners sugar
2 oz. Sundrop
2 tbsp. butter

Cream the sugar, butter, and crisco. Add the flour, eggs, and beat them until they are blended. Add the vanilla and lemon flavoring along with the Sundrop and mix well. Bake this in a tube pan at 325 degrees for an hour and fifteen minutes.

To create the icing, mix the confectioners sugar, sundrop, and melted butter. Then pour it over the cake after the cake is removed from the pan.

Pheenx Group

Pheenx is a new music group that is pronounced Phoenix. I'm not sure how they expect anybody not to pronounce it Feenks, but thats how it goes I suppose. The groups main girl is Farrah Franklin, the girl that was kicked out of Destiny's Child. Now she is back with her own group called Pheenx.

Apparently a girl got kicked out of Pheenx recently as well. Her name was Bethany and she was accused of being in porn films. Turns out it is true and she withdrew herself from the group. You can watch the video of her withdrawel below.

Jamal Anderson Peachtree

Two men were arrested at the Peachtree Tavern for possessing marijuana and cocaine. This is not the kind of possession Jamal Anderson should be doing. (He's a football player, GET IT!?)

Jamal Anderson was among the men arrested. He is well known for creating the "Dirty Bird" touchdown dance and had played with the Atlanta Falcons for eight seasons until he had left the team in 2001 with a knee injury.

Anderson is 36 years old.

Court will take place tomorrow at 11 a.m..

Amber Rose and Kanye West

Amber Rose is a model that was seen with Kanye West recently while leaving a club in Los Angeles. This is the same model that danced in Ludacris' video "What Them Girls Like", a photoshoot with Smooth Magazine in which she hardly wore any clothing, along with a Young Jeezy rap video.

Kanye likes em classy just like all of us. There are pictures of Amber Rose here. Not too bad for having no hair I suppose.

Daniel Huffman Murder or Suicide

A courageous young man named Daniel Huffman was found dead at the age of 25 in his home with a gunshot wound to his head. His story starts at age 17 when he had donated his kidney to his grandmother she could have her life saved. He had to give up contact sports in order to do this.

He had plenty of goals for the future, as well as a dream of becoming an English teacher. However, there were no signs of foul play in his death, which leads to the belief that it could have been a suicide related death. Shaun York, the best friend of Daniel says, "There is no answer, no one knows why. No one. I've racked my brain ever since. I'm his best friend, just loved him to death and I just don't know."

Kaws Exhibit

What can you expect to see at a KAWS exhibit in New York City? Well one of his dominant themes are X's in the eyes of his art characters.

KAWS was born with the name Brian Donnelly. His career first started in Jersey City as a graffiti artist. He then moved to New York and began doing things for Billboards. His popularity sky rocketed and he was in demand in cities around the world.

Mulberry Wallets

Interested in buying a Mulberry wallet? One of these things could end up costing you 172 euros. That is a lot of money for something to hold your money. Which ends up giving me this strange image of walking up to a wallet and saying, "Hey, mind if I use you to put my money in?" Then the wallet says "Sure". So you put 172 euros in there, and the wallet eats it. So then you get mad, but that is alright because wallets don't have a digestive system. So the Mulberry wallet can't eat any more money if it tried. Now the money can just sit in there for you.

If that doesn't make you want to buy a Mulberry wallet, I don't know what will.

Debra Silver Murder

Debra Silver, a 46 year old woman from Manhattan, was shot and killed by a jealous boyfriend due to being involved in a love triangle. Her still unidentified boyfriend had walked into her apartment on the Upper West Side and discovered her with another man about to have dinner.

The boyfriend shot and killed his girlfriend along with the man with her. He then turned the gun on himself, taking his own life.

The boyfriend was 55 years old. The other man was 57. No updates yet.

The Secret : Lifetime Movie

If you ever want to watch a crazy movie with a ridiculous plot, tune into Lifetime. These movies are hard not to keep watching once you start.

One of the craziest I've seen so far is called The Secret. This movie is about a mother whos spirit ends up in her daughter's body. She then wants to have sex with her husband, using her daughter's body. Apparently, the mother tries to seduce the father with her "new" body as well. Pretty twisted movie. Brings up a lot of crazy debates and issues that will never exist in the real world.

Fred On iCarly

That is right, the youtube sensation known as "Fred", is going to be on iCarly on Monday, February 16th. Fred is the crazy kid that does a lot of editing to his videos; which results in a high pitched chipmunk voice and endless talking and jabbering.

Ben Carson's Wife

So what do we know of Ben Carson's wife? For starters, her name is Candy Carson. We know that she, along with her husband has started the non profit organization called the Carson Scholars Fund. We also know that she has been married to Ben for 26 years. There is a picture of Candy Carson below. She is the woman on the right. While his mother is on the left.

AT&T Mobility Strike

AT&T is on strike as negotiations continued on Saturday between the union workers and AT&T Inc. The strike was to have a midnight deadline. This bargaining is a contract that will cover about 20,000 employees for the company across the nation. CWA is the union behind this (The Communications Workers of America).

Though the strike has ended about 2 hours ago, rumor has it that all of the demands were rejected by the company.

The primary issue according to CWA is pay. Though, it may prove difficult to get more pay i

n economic times like these.

Want to know what the Rausch Twins look like? They are two red headed models from Luxembourg. There isn't really much else to say about them, except that here are some pictures. Now you know what they look like!

Broken Lizard Potfest

Remember the movie Beerfest? Well now for people who are fans of pot, there is going to be a movie called Potfest. Yes, it is going to be made by the same guys; Broken Lizard. 

At first this started out as a joke. At the end of the movie Beerfest, there is a scene where Willie Nelson invites the guys to a national pot smoking competition. They accept the offer and walk into a smoke filled room.

The Broken Lizard guys ended up getting so much feedback that they decided they would have to make a movie about it. We have no information on when the release date is, but keep checking back, we may have an update!

Ben Carson's Brother

Ben Carson's older brother's name is Curtis Carson. Just like Ben, he also performed well academically. He is now a manager for Honeywell in the aircraft landing division. 

The reason the two are so interesting is because of Ben Carson's book, Gifted Hands. A self written autobiography that goes over his life as an inner city kid with little motivation and bad grades. A kid who grows up to become the director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins University Hospital at the age of 33.

Talk about motivation. We imagine Curtis Carson looks something like his brother, there is a picture of Ben below.

Binder Twins

Patrick and Benjamin Binder were siamese twins that were born with the back of their heads attached to each other. These twins are written about in Ben Carson's book, Gifted Hands. He describes the routines that were went through to prepare for the surgery as well as the actual procedure itself.

According to reports, the Binder twins were joined at the back of the head and had the same superior sagittal vein. This is the main vein that takes blood out of the brain along with skull and skin tissue. These twins would have to stay in bed for the rest of their lives had surgery not been performed. 

Johns Hopkins had a team of 70 medical professionals working on the procedure. Ben Carson says in his book “At the end of the five-month period, everything was so organized that at times it felt as if we were planning a military operation. We even worked out where each team member would stand on the

 operating room floor. A 10-page, play-by-play book detailed each step of the operation. We endlessly discussed the five 3-hour dress rehearsals we’d had, using life-sized dolls attached at the 

head by Velcro.”

There were many difficulties during the procedure. In the end the surgery became a success. The only downfall was that the two children had to be institutionalized after the procedure due to the brain damage suffered.

Hob Knocker Definition

There is no official definition for the slang term Hob Knocker. There is however a term called Hob Knobber... I will not go into detail as to what that means because it is inappropriate for the age group that is curious about this word.

The word Hob Knocker was said on iCarly today by David Archuleta which you can watch the video clip of below. The word was used frequently.

So as far as a definition, here is what I have gathered from random internet sources. A Hob Knocker is a person that is considered cool but in a nerdy geekish kind of way. This may or may not be true, but it seems to be the closest to the truth for a made up word anyway.

Krispy Kreme Challenge 2009

Who doesn't love Krispy Kreme donuts? Don't you sometimes just want to run 2 miles to your local Krispy Kreme store, eat a dozen donuts, then run back home? Well, that is what the Krispy Kreme Challenge is all about. So if you do get the urge to do that, you just may want to enter this fun filled charity event/competition. 

This delicious donut event started out as a dare between college friends in North Carolina, and is now an event that over 5,000 people have signed up for this year. As I have described in the

 beginning of this passage the process goes like this. The competitors run 2 miles to the Krispy Kreme stores, eat 12 donuts, then run 2 miles back to the NCSU bell tower where the race starts.

Great news this year, ESPN is capturing the Krispy Kreme Challenge 2009 event!

Lake Erie Ice Floe

There are hundreds of people trapped on an Ice Floe on Lake Erie at the moment. One person has died in the rescue effort process.

Currently there is a rescue operation taking place.

The Ice Floe is 8 miles long and formed near Locust Point, Ohio which is just east of Toledo. According to reports at least 100 people but up to 500 people were stranded on the floe. Due to currents being fairly strong this time of year, rescue teams are trying their best to get the

m back to safety in a timely manner.

Hovercrafts and Helicopters are currently being used in the rescue operation.

Primobolan is a type of anabolic steroid, yes there are several types, that Alex Rodriguez tested positive for. This is one of the two types he was positive for. When used by itself Primobolan is slightly weak compared to other types of the drug. Most likely Rodriguez paired it up with some testosterone to gain as much lean muscle as possible.

ARod Steroid Use

I want to be surprised that ARod has tested positive for steroids back in 2003. Unfortunately, it isn't all that surprising. Alex Rodriguez played for the Texas Rangers that year and became the American Leagues MVP.

So what does this mean if he tested positive back in 2003. It means that there is a good chance that he is still on steroids. I mean, obviously this information wasn't released until now. So why would the guy stop. I'm sure there was some sort of cover up that allowed him to cheat the system.

This should in no way make him out to be a bad baseball player. The guy plays good baseball,

 steroids are only going to boost his fielding ability to an extent. Nothing else really to say on the matter!

Drinking Collagen

Some people enjoy drinking Coffee, some people like Tea, other people prefer fruit juices. Maybe not everybody is drinking this stuff for the health benefits (anti-oxidents, and vitamins in some cases). But, there are some people that are. Then we have a whole new category, the people that drink collagen for health.

Did I read that correctly?! Collagen?! Yes.

A Japan based company called Toki has released a drink that consists of collagen and will give you "porcelain skin from within". It has been clinically proven that your skin texture and appearance will improve if you drink this powder drink. There are three ingredients that contribute to this; Calcium, Collagen, and Mucupolysaccharide.

At first this stuff was used to improve joints in patients. The patients then also reported that their skin had better appearance and texture. So it must be true afterall. If you are interested in buying Collagen drink perhaps you should look here.

Bud Shootout 2009

Lets talk about sports. Well not really. Lets talk about a special sporting event called the Budweiser Shootout, or as you may prefer to call it, the Bud Shootout. The Shootout of 2009 has an all new format that focuses on the four auto manufacturers in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series.

The opening of Daytona for the 31st time will take place on Feb. 7th and have all of the top teams from Chevrolet, Ford, Dodge, and Toyota. 

The shootout is an event that will not involve any points. It was first held in 1979 known as the Busch Clash. The shootout is a big event for the previous years winners and pole winners to

 show the fans of racing what they've got.

As for the schedule.

The Shootout will air on FOX Network at 8pm on Feb. 7  this Saturday.

Kristin Davis is one of the prostitutes that Eliot Spitzer, ex Governor of New York used to call on for "relations". She has recently released a book called "The Manhattan Madam" that claims Spitzer was too rough and never wanted to use condoms.

The Madam claims she had to cut him off from the client list due to too many complaints from her girls. "I no longer feel comfortable with you as a client. You are blacklisted. Please don't ever call me or my other phone bookers again. Thank you and good luck." is what she claims to have told him. Kristin Davis will be on 20/20 tonight to describe her book that has all kinds of juicy information on her clientele.

Nadya Suleman Plastic Surgery

Everybody has finally seen what Nadya Suleman looks like, and now they are all wondering, has she had plastic surgery? I watched the video of her interview with Ann Curry and I would have to say that it doesn't really look like she has had plastic surgery. I imagine people think she has had a lip augmentation.

Jessica Simpson Grand Rapids Meltdown

Jessica Simpson had an off night at her opening set for the Rascall Flatts in Grand Rapids. Apparently she had started her disastor by telling the crowd how much she missed her boyfriend Tony Romo. "I'm so excited, I get to see my boyfriend tomorrow", said the 28 year old woman.

The only slightly funny part of this meltdown by Simpson was when she thanked her band for not going all Christian Bale on her. Simpson! You amateur!

Sources are putting the blame for her meltdown on the fact that Tony Romo did not show up for the concert.

Tony Romo Cheats at Party

Star Magazine, a well known tabloid that posts tons of rumors about celebrities, some of which are true, and some of which are certainly not true; has recently put up a story about Tony Romo cheating on Jessica Simpson in her own house.

The story goes something like this.

Jessica Simpson flies out of Burbank airport on January 16th. Romo decides he is going to host a party at her house. A bunch of people show up, including an olive skinned brunette that seems to be giving Tony Romo a lot of extra attention. The two go upstairs to Jessica's room and "get down".

Then they suggest that this may be because Simpson has gained weight recently. Now I am absolutely positive there are going to be plenty of people that believe this rumor regardless of

 what common sense may say. But to believe that her 10 pound or so weight gain has anything to do with it would be beyond dumb.

So what do you think? Is this just a rumor?

USS Port Royal is Stuck! Runs Aground

This one is fun. A United States guided missle cruiser navy ship has ran aground at about 10:30 PM Thursday night near a Honolulu International Airport runway. No fuel leaks, no injuries, no known coral reef damage as of now. However, I do not suspect that they had checked for that yet.

Tugboats tried to free the USS Port Royal from land, but the lines broke. I wonder how fast this thing was going in order to get stuck on land to the point where tugboat lines are breaking.

Unfortunately, I can't find a picture of this ship in its new stuck position. Fail boat!

Fabric Softener Toxic

That is right, it is now being pointed out that Fabric Softener, liquid form, and dryer sheets are fairly toxic. 

So what makes them toxic? According to Sixwise.com, the harmful ingredients in dryer sheets and the liquid stuff are benzyl acetate (has been linked to pancreatic cancer), benzyl alcohol (upper respiratory irritant), ethanol (central nervous system inhibitor), limonene (carcinogen), and chloroform (it's just bad for you).

Now the thing that kind of sucks, is that fabric softener is made to stay in your clothing for a long time. This means that you are constantly "wearing" all of these chemicals on your body. They

 can seep into your skin and do their damage slowly over time.

So what do I do now? I like to have soft clothes. National Geographic reccomends that you add a quarter cup of baking soda or a quarter cup of white vinigar during the wash cycle. But warns you not to mix these with bleach as that will cause some pretty harmful fumes.

James Marcello Mob Boss

James Marcello was a mob boss with a big role in a racketeering conspiracy that ended up resulting in the murders of 18 people. Remember that guy from Casino that Joe Pesci portrayed? His name was Tony "The Ant" Spilotro, and he is one of the guys that was murdered at Marcello's command.

So anyway, the reason this guy is in the news, is because he just ended up with a life sentence behind bars for his crimes. The guy is 66 years old, and was apparently expressionless when the judge condemned him. This is supposed to be a pretty big blow to the mob in Chicago.

John Schnatter Pizza Warning

John Schnatter has recently said in an interview, "Pizza's actually healthy for you if you don't eat too much of it; you can't eat five or six slices, but if you eat one or two slices it's very nutritious." 

So what is wrong with that? The Papa John's owner is being honest with his customers. Anybody can look up the nutritional facts of pizza on the internet, or just use common sense and figure that eating half of a pizza isn't an ideal diet unless you are trying to pack some weight on.

The worry here, is that he had said this in the U.K., a country that he is trying to expand his

 company. When investors hear the owner of a pizza company telling the consumer not to eat too much pizza, they get a little weary.

I could go for some pizza right now actually.... I'll keep in mind to limit myself to 2 slices!

Paul Volcker Economic Advisory Board

We are in urgent times with the state of the economy. The former chairman of the Federal Reserve, Paul Volcker, will be leading Barack Obama's economic advisory board. According to Volcker the amount of jobs lost in January just add the the reasons to boost the economy.

Really Paul? Brilliant.

Volcker says "The figures this morning simply reinforce that and I can't imagine that the Congress won't share this sense of urgency."

If all goes as planned Congress will pass economic stimulus legislation.

J.B. Smith of Equity 11

The Super Bowl has been won by the Pittsburgh Steelers and now a Detroit venture capitalist named J.B. Smith wants to be the newest partner in the team. Smith is the managing partner of Equity 11, and will now be the fourth new minority partner to join up with the Steelers.

J.B. Smith says a lot of his interest in being a team partner is for the Rooney family who has owned the team since 1931. Want to know how much they bought the Steelers for? $2,500. What an investment.

Conan O'Brien's Wife Picture

As most of us that watch The Late Night Show with Conan O'Brien know, he is married. But who is his wife and what does she look like?

Lets get some info first. She is 32 years old and her name is Liza Powell. They have a child together as well.

Now one more thing before the picture. This is a fast fun fact about Conan. Did anybody know this guy was 6'4"? I've always had the impression that he was like 5'7", kind of crazy.
