Jeremy Lusk, a professional freestyle motocross athlete, died early on Tuesday while at a competition in San Jose, Costa Rica. He was only 24 years old. He was in a medically induced coma with swelling of the brain. The crash had caused severe brain damage and a spinal cord injury. Ultimately, it lead to his death.
This unfortunate tragedy is the first of its kind in the daredevil sport.
The following video is a crash that happened last year. He is doing the same stunt that took his life just a year later. The video where he tragically dies is in another post on this blog located here.
